Contribution rules
You must make contributions with your own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
You are at least eighteen years old.
Contributions are made from your own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
North Carolina Election Disclaimer
North Carolina law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, job title or profession, and name of the employer’s specific field for each individual whose contribution aggregate is in excess of $50 in an election.
Contributions may not exceed $6,800 per person per election cycle.
North Carolina law prohibits contributions to candidate committees by North Carolina registered lobbyists, corporations, and foreign nationals.
Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
